After a form is loaded into Forms To Go and a settings file is created from it, the setting file works independently from the form it was based on. Changing the structure of the form such as adding/deleting/modifying fields and form attributes (method, enctype) does not update the settings file. To update the settings file, load the revised HTML form into Forms To Go and apply the settings file to it to restore settings for matching field names.

1. Load the revised form under File > Load HTML Form from File.

2. Select the settings file to apply to the form under File > Apply Settings to Current HTML Form.

3. Check which setting(s) to apply to the current HTML form.

4. Save settings file under File > Save Settings.

Note: This process does not update the email body for added/deleted/modified form field(s). This step has to be done manually.

1. Open the email body under Settings > Email to Form's Owner > Email Body.

2. To insert the new field:

1. place the cursor in the desired location of the email body
2. right click to bring up a menu of fields
3. select the desired field to insert the field placeholder into the email body

3. To remove the deleted field, locate it in the email body and delete it.

4. Repeat the above steps for Settings > Confirmation Email to User > Email Body if enabled.
