Issue:

Some webhostings restrict or filter the access to their SMTP server for security reasons. Please check:

• If the webserver requires a login and password to establish the connection.


• If the server blocks any connection that is not coming from their own network or domain.


• If the SMTP server requires a port different from the default (port: 25) for making the connection.

Solution:

• Check your username, password and SMTP server information to make sure you have typed them correctly.


• Ask your webhost how could you connect from outside that network or domain, and also for the correct connection port.
