Quick Start

In this section, we will show you in less than 5 minutes how to create and analyze a survey .

When you start Mediata Survey, a window with 3 options will appear:
• Create a new survey using a template
• Create a new empty survey
• Open an existing survey

For this example, let's create an empty survey

Step 1: Create a new page

Step 2: Create an open question

Step 3: Create a simple-choice question

Step 4: Create another page

Step 5: Create a matrix question

Step 6: Create the final page

Step 7: Enter connection settings: Menu: Design > Database Settings...

Step 8: Create the script: Menu: Design > Create Script

Step 9: Store files generated during this process in the web server

Step 10: Run install.php in your browser to create survey structure online

Step 11: Run survey.php in your browser and take the survey

Step 12: Obtain results: Menu: Analysis > Database > Update...

Step 13: Select original connection or establish new settings

Your survey is ready for analysis!!!
