Preferences

Some Mediata Survey settings may be modified in the preferences window through the menu:

Win: Edit > Preferences...
Mac: Mediata Survey > Preferences...

General

Do not show tips at startup: This allows you to set up the program to show or not Mediata Survey tips window when the application starts.
Do not show connection settings when updating database: By selecting this option, the database connection window will not open when updating data. (See Retrieve Data)
Do not show script compiler window: By selecting this option, current survey files will be automatically generated as long as there are no survey logic errors. (See Generate Script)

Updates

This allows you to check if there is a new Mediata Survey version available. Updates generally repair software malfunctions or add new features.

Fonts

This allows adding a font family to be used in the HTML settings window. They can be edited by double clicking on the selected font.

HTML

Font Families: List of existing font families.
Font Size: List of standard font sizes used in HTML.
Page Text Color: Color of text in pages.
Question Text Color: Color of text in questions.
Answer Text Color: Color of text in answers.

Chart

Chart Type: Shows the default chart type. You may select the preferred option.
Chart Color: Shows the default chart color. You may select the preferred option.
Background Color 1 & Background Color 2: The graphic background can be set up. It can be a gradation from Color 1 to Color 2.
Decimals: List of the number of decimals of chart and table values.
Show skipped questions: Skipped questions (not answered) can be shown or hidden on chart captions.

Details

This option allows you to set up which users' details to show as heading.

Toolbar

You can customize, show, and hide Mediata Survey toolbar in preferences.
