Virtualization and Bebosoft

Monday, August 18th, 2008

If you mention virtualization in conversation, most people won’t know what you’re talking about. Well, consider this; imagine being able to run two Windows servers, three Linux servers, and a MacOS server on one computer that you could access at one time. Sounds impossible, right?

Believe it or not, you can do that with virtualization. What it does is allow you, the user, to run several operating systems on one computer at the same time. That’s OK. But how do we use that for Mediata Survey and Forms To Go?

How you would use virtualization to take advantage of programs such as Forms To Go and Mediata Survey with all their available features is simple. Virtualization allows you to connect your browser to a remote server that is running applications like Mediata Survey and Forms To Go. The graphical experience of using virtualization to access these applications is identical to running it on your own computer without having the actual registered versions.

Although Bebosoft doesn’t sell any kind of software to do so, many sites do offer a plugin to handle the virtualization between the user’s browser and the remote server. The user won’t need to install a “guest operating system” as the plugin that is instaled along with the virtualization software will create that.

What Bebosoft is initiating for people that have virtualization software installed on their browsers is offer programs like Forms To Go and Mediata Survey on a time basis. Whether it’s for a few hours, days or a week; you will be able to use our programs for only the time that you need without having to purchase the actual registered versions. You will be able to save on energy costs, consolidate your server, manage your hardware a lot easier, reduce backup and recovery time as well as test software configurations

Having explained what virtualization can do, how would you feel about paying for applications like Mediata Survey and Forms To Go on time basis? Would you prefer that option or simply being able to purchase a registered application for their computer without having to connect to a remote server using virtualization?
